Join us on May 2!

The M.A. TESOL conference has become a tradition at San Francisco State University. Every semester, the students in the graduating class organize a conference to present their capstone projects and network with teachers, students, and other professionals.

This semester’s conference will take place on May 2, 2014 and will feature 19 presentations on a variety of topics from the field of TESOL.

This semester’s conference theme is “M.A. TESOL: A Mosaic of Theory and Practice” and aims to express the collective unity of our diverse interests. By combining a theoretical foundation of TESOL with tangible classroom moments and reflections, we hope to present the wide array of our interests and experiences through a mosaic of our capstone projects. Our projects, while unique and none the same, coalesce to form a mosaic portraying a unified image of dedication to both theory and practice.

On this site, you can learn more about the presenters, read about their presentations, and find the conference schedule.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Chris Washington at cjw@mail.sfsu.edu or Ricky De La Torre at deoxys89@mail.sfsu.edu

We hope you’ll join us on May 2!
